The latest version of the Tribes re-release beta was recently leaked. While we will not be hosting this version of Tribes here because of NDA's, it is available elsewhere. This version is 1.40.655, and has problems that will be addressed when the project is re-opened. I encourage those of you that have it, post any bugs you find so we can track them.

Lou Castle to Head Up InstantAction as New CEO
Lou Castle has taken over as new CEO of InstantAction, the company that owns the rights to the Tribes franchise and numerous web-based games published by GarageGames. InstantAction will also be leaving its Eugene Oregon-based headquarters to join Castle in Las Vegas at Westwood Studios, home of the Command & Conquer series. Another office will be created in Portland.
Instant action is currently working on a re-release of it's popular Tribes 1 game with many new features and functionality. Expect exciting news in the next few weeks.

Well Tribes is coming back! We have obtained the IP for the entire Starsiege Universe including Tribes. We'll be showing Tribes off at GDC this next week in San Francisco, so if you will be there, be sure to stop by our booth and check it out.

I've developed a simple fix for the hacks that have been happening with Tribes lately.
You can add this to your Tribes in 5 easy steps.
This is also a simple and painless way to add the community Master servers.

If you've recently connected to your favorite server only to find your name changed, then say hello to Dr Arsenic.
Hacks of this nature are facilitated by all master servers, but we're working on a fix.
Meanwhile, you can add one line to your autoexec.cs to prevent it from happening.
