ftp space?

I have some installers that I've made listed on www.ReviveTribes.com, but I am using box.com to host the installers and there is a limit to how many can be downloaded in a period of time.

Can any of you host files for me? I'm buying advertisement space for my website and I have found some good sources (thanks to ReV|Real aka Nitro) that will get us some awesome traffic.

Thanks all :) Reviving Tribes still, we're almost there!

dropbox.com does not put any limit on number of downloads, you get 2gb for free to put all your installers
and it supports getting a direct link to the file if it is public.

I've been using box.com, the problem is not the amount of files that I am hosting, but the amount of people that are now downloading the tribes installer (yes, they are downloading)

I was at 15% of my monthly bandwidth yesterday and today I am now at 22%.

Here are the results of my ongoing advertisement campaign for my website that is actively bringing people into the game every day (and I have a better advertisement campaign lined up with fiverr.com :))

(Someone said the above pic doesn't work, here's the link: https://app.box.com/s/luyd0v4ao2bkdee3o5qc)

It's nothing spectacular, but it is the only advertisement campaign that is going for tribes (I got 100$ free credits with bing for creating reviveTribes.com) Note that it has ran for only 2 days and received almost 300 hits, resulting in a handful of downloads and confirmed new players in the community. (between 10-15)

I need FTP to continue doing this, is anyone out there who wants to help????? :stab:

thats awesome.

Just saying it again - dropbox has no limits on bandwidth and number of simultaneous downloads or anything except space, in case you have trouble with that.

You are contradicting me almost every time I make a post.

You are wrong. Stop deterring people from helping me. Thanks :)

The bandwidth limit isn't a problem at the moment, but when I am getting hundreds of downloads it will be. I have had 25 downloads in 3 days.

At risk of just parroting <insert file locker site here>: How about MediaFire or Mega?

I dunno about Mega, but I just checked MediaFire:

Seems okay.

If you need hosting I can also provide some. I got two location for which I can host. Both are where I'm running my current two T1 master servers from. Both are not metered as far as bandwidth goes.

Thanks Xan, and Kigen that would be awesome! I've been holding off on starting another advertisement campaign so that we wont have to run into any issues with the downloads that are being hosted.

Email me with information @ ryansvideoblog@gmail.com, or add me on Xfire: SacramentoXXL
THX!!

On a side note, about half of the servers that I normally see have been taken off of the masterlist? Including the server that I am currently coding for (208.100.45.13:28002) any suggestions? A bunch of the players are having this issue also :o

I'll see if I can get a proper FTP setup soon. In the mean time you can PM me with any files that need hosting.

Tribes0 is under reporting servers. TribesMasterServer.com is down. I don't have a clue as to why.
Code: Select all
This (t1m2.tribes1.co) master has 30 servers visable.
Master t1m1.tribes1.co has last sent a total of 30 servers.
Master t1m1.pu.net has last sent a total of 31 servers.
Master t1m1.tribes0.com has last sent a total of 18 servers.
Master tribes.lock-load.org has last sent a total of 45 servers.
Master t1m1.tribesmasterserver.com has last sent a total of 0 servers.
  End of master server stats.

:D That works I just want to get all of the tribes installers hosted... I might have to update them with new masters if this problem is going to continue :stab:

for now, until I have time to get around that, could you download the ones on www.ReviveTribes.com and host those? they work but the masters won't show all of the servers until I fix.
